
Susan Haedicke is
a professional dramaturg in the Washington D.C. area and in Paris, most
recently for a street theatre version of Macbeth on stilts for Friches
Théâtre Urbain. Her current creative project is to develop
a performance piece very loosely based on the story of Eve with Dody diSanto
and the Membrane Theatre. She teaches Performance Studies, Theatre History
and Theory in the Department of Theatre at University of Maryland and
is Director of Inside French Theatre (an annual summer theatre program
in Paris with Friches Théâtre Urbain). Dr. Haedicke has published
Performing Democracy: International Perspectives on Community-Based Performance
and articles in numerous international publications. Her current research
is on European street theatre.
Jos
Houben is an a Master teacher, actor, director, and producer
throughout Europe. He graduated from the École Jacques Lecoq in
1983, and then became one of the founding members of Théâtre
de la Complicité and performed in and directed many shows, including
The Phantom Violin. He currently works as producer and writer with Right
Size Theatre in London. In January to March, 2005, he performed at the
National Theatre in London in A Minute Too Late. He leads movement workshops
around the world (Sarajevo, Holland, Germany) and is certified Feldenkrais
practitioner. Mr. Houben teaches at École Jacques Lecoq.
Leigh
Smiley is a designated Linklater Voice teacher and professional
actor who has performed all over the East Coast,
including Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New York, and
Massachusetts. She is Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland
and has vocal coached and taught at Arena Stage, Fordham Lincoln Center,
Emerson College, University of Pennsylvania, University of the Arts, Philadelphia
Shakespeare Company, Shakespeare & Co in Lenox, Massachusetts, amongst
many other cultural and higher education sites. Ms. Smiley is a member
of Actors Equity, Stage Actors Guild, Voice and Speech Association, and
American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
Emily
Wilson is a professional actor, teacher, and producer
in Paris, France. She is a recent graduate of École Jacques Lecoq
and a graduate as a Presidential Performing Arts Scholar from The George
Washington University. She currently teaches acting and movement at Tapis
Vert and in Paris and is the director of Les Alpes Mancelles en Scène
Festival, an international theatre festival in western France.
