(Thursday)

We only get to run the show once due to basketball parking issues.
Earth run throughseemed slow.

Sound issues: All available sound guys work on the sound problems. (P needed to buy a genter for echo cancellation for AG, and unfortunately, the audience noticed the problem.) A will bring a mic stand. We are faking the sound, and not using the PIG. (N is unhappy, and does not feel they sound real. N asks Mk if he can add dirt and delay to the sound. P and others try to convince N to go with other, even till Friday- N will listen on Friday to the online performers in the real space and decides to go with the real thing. They can't hear A, otherwise the echo is worse coming from Utah's hearing of M and N in our Theatre not A (who is using the headset) or Jimmy and Beth--which we can't change. We hated the idea of A looking like Max Headroom –jerky while it sounds smooth like Barry White. But perhaps Saturday night we should have switched—lots of sound issues with the audience. We are also beginning to have white balance issues with the camera on A. N will search for camera instructions. N&P fix the problem for Friday, but it looks weird again on Saturday.

P needs 2 echo canceling units. P tries patching a real mike into sound 4 to grid via house mic to Dell. In the middle of the piece, the sound was not working, and N must translate between J&B who are not in their normal place, an equipped lab, and are also having trouble with sound.

A dancer says, “oh yes, the whole experience has been exciting.”

5 minute break

N shows Nut (a tech assistant) how to use the head seat. N argues for delay on mic. Mk/K/N talk and decide to tell P someone needs to call media cues (we assumed P would be calling cues but he did not). Mk will do Fire and Water cues.
